Peggy Reichelt is a partner at ECONA since 2010. She is in charge of expanding the company’s lifestyle portfolio. Before joining ECONA, Peggy founded the online guide abnehmen.net and the online shop amapur.de. She has several years of professional experience in the advertising and IT fields working for renowned agencies such as Scholz & Friends and aperto. Peggy is also an author of books on diet and nutrition. She is a graduated engineer and MBA (University of St. Gallen, Switzerland) and has a marketing and media degree (University of Berkeley, USA).
Daniel Engelbarts
Daniel Engelbarts has been a partner at ECONA since 2008 and is the founder of ECONA Shopping GmbH. Before joining ECONA, he was head of e-commerce at Bild.T-Online, a joint venture of the German publishing house Axel Springer and T-Online. Daniel Engelbarts studied business informatics at University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, Germany.
Christian Lang
Christian Lang is a partner at ECONA since 2011 and in charge of ECONA’s shopping division. After his Master’s degree in business administration, Christian worked with Procter & Gamble and myToys.de and gained a wide knowledge of marketing and management. He has been working successfully as an entrepreneur since 2002 and co-founded ECONA Shopping GmbH. Christian has more than 10 years experience in the online-business and his focuses are marketing and CRM.
Bernd Hardes
Bernd Hardes co-founded ECONA in 1999. He has been serial entrepreneur since 1996 and co-founded several successful companies such as the energy broker Ampere AG or the IT agency aperto AG. As a co-founder of bmp AG, Germany’s first public VC company, he gained several years of professional experience in early stage investing. Bernd has a Master’s degree in business administration and is in charge of strategy and finance at ECONA.
